Learn about the different content templates when building a quiz

All of the quizzing templates except Free Response and Drawing Response are available for lessons. Administrators will not be able to view question-specific analytics from lessons, but they will still be able to track progress and completion.

- The Multiple Choice Text template allows you to ask questions with text-based multiple choice answers. Multiple media formats are allowed for the questions, but the answers are text-based.
- You may have multiple correct answers.
- The Multiple Image Choice template allows you to ask questions with image-based multiple choice answers. You can also use multiple media formats in the questions.

- The True/False template allows you to write a statement and have users choose whether it is true or false.
- The Free Response template allows users to answer a question in their own words or upload a photo or video response. Administrators grade the free response questions by going into Quiz Analytics and marking each response correct or incorrect.
- The Drawing Response template has users draw lines or circle a part of an image provided by the instructor.
Multiple Choice Text, Multiple Image Choice, and True/False templates are graded automatically and marked in the Analytics function.
- Access Quiz Analytics by clicking Quiz Results on the left menu bar.
- From here, you can filter by Quiz, Package, or Score.
The Free Response and Drawing Response templates require the administrator to manually mark the users' answers correct or incorrect.
- To mark an answer correct or incorrect, first navigate to the quiz. Ungraded Free Response or Drawing Response answers are marked by a white box with a blue outline. Click on the box, read the answer, and then mark the answer Correct or Incorrect.
Note: After selecting one of those two options, an option comment box will appear where you can give feedback. Learn more about quiz feedback here. The grading will not be sent to the user until you press Send.
